General Info

Basic principle = get rare objects/mods/relics as fast as possible. Having a resource doubler booster helps for some farms, like relic opening or apothic plant farming.

For beginners

Mainly used for slots at the beginning of the game, the rest will come later (cosmetics, trade) The game gives you some plat at account creation, to spend in the shop: you must spend them on slots in priority. Platinum will come from trading with other players, the amount of trades per day is equal to your Mastery Rank.

Find / identify a farming method

  • find objects selling for high prices on warframe.market or in the in-game English trade chats (much more people)
  • find methods to collect these profitable objects efficiently / quickly / that you enjoy (favor cross-farms, ex: get plants for apothics while opening relics in public)
  • consult community lists 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Trading Places

  • warframe.market: has the advantage of allowing to sell very quickly and continue your missions while waiting to find a buyer who will send you a message
  • trade tab in the in-game chat
    • total mess chaos. Prices vary greatly, can earn more than on market but requires more time, attention and chatting
    • prefer the English version (launcher option) + English servers (in-game connection options) to access the trade channel with the most players
    • the magnifying glass at the top left of the chat allows filtering displayed texts to avoid drowning
    • quick glossary: "WTB" = Want To Buy, "WTS" = Want To Sell
    • you can add a place by opening a bracket [ and starting to type its name and choose from auto-complete. Fast, efficient, people will know what you're selling without errors.

Final trades after contact should be preferably done in a Dojo at a trade pad. As a last resort you can go through Maroo's bazaar and use the trade emote.

    • build your apothics in advance
    • form a group, 1 Khora + 3 Nekros preferably
    • run Mantle (Earth) to find Silver Grove Shrine: Lotus speaks when you enter the right tileset
    • use your loot buffs and open 2 apothics each
  • Descendia (arcanes / vosphor)

    Why: farm the "treasure rooms" stage in loop to trade resources for arcanes (arcane sales / Vosphor reroll for other arcanes)

    How:

    • do a full normal run to check rooms and unlock checkpoints for the current week
    • if a "treasure room" is well placed relative to the first 2 checkpoints, start farming:
      • use max range Xaku (+ Helminth Mag with augment mod if needed for loot)
      • enter the closest checkpoint to the treasure room
      • validate the treasure room stage, be sure to break all crates / pick up everything
      • go to the next stage and extract immediately
      • repeat (loots are saved at each stage transition)
  • corrupted mods
    • check wiki page and explanatory video
    • you will need them for your builds
    • sell the surplus for plats
    • farm on Deimos, preferably a fast map like capture on Horend
      • requires equipping corrupted keys, a random one of 4 possible is needed to open a treasure room door. Distribute keys among present players or go solo with all keys equipped
      • key blueprints are found in Dojos: join a clan and go to the Orokin lab
      • possible to do runs solo, preferably with a fast frame (Titania/Nezha)
      • recommended to do runs in group: reduces key charge and speeds up runs to find doors
  • farm Aya Cetus (group) or Deimos (Brute Force max rank solo or duo)
  • farm Captain Vor
  • farm Steel Path endurance:
    • Cascade (gdocs) + mod booster if possible (+ arcane drops)
